Due to rapid growth in business, they are hiring IT Helpdesk Support Engineer.

Job Description

  • Provide day-to-day in-house IT support by phone, email, remote, and face-to-face.
  • Manage the installation and maintenance of hardware & software including computers, laptops, Virtual Machines (VM), database, Sharepoint, printers, mobile devices, projectors,
  • Deployment of desktop Operating System, software application, VMs and database and apply system patches, testing and configuration and
  • Manage the diagnosis & repair of IT hardware/software and contact the appropriate service vendors when
  • Perform Asset Management of Infrastructure and maintain records of work performed
  • Be responsible for completing assigned tasks on time and to the satisfaction of the
  • Provide technical support across the company (including SG and JB) and liaise up with team in other countries to maintain the systems if
  • Provide technical support to server and network infrastructure (servers, network devices workstation and VMs), and perform regular upgrades to keep systems updated and
  • Troubleshoot system failures or bugs and provide solutions to restore
  • Assist with any ad-hoc tasks as required by the IT Department / Team

Job Requirements

  • Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate or Diploma/Degree in Information Technology or
  • Good troubleshooting skills and knowledge of Linux (Ubuntu and Red Hat) and Windows 10/11 Operating systems and VM (virtual machine) technology, Mac OS, and Office 365 applications suite (including Sharepoint) in terms of installation, configuration, backup, troubleshooting and
  • Familiar with Database (Mysql, Sqlite, MongoDB, Postgres)
  • Basic coding skills (Scripting, Shell and Python) for automation
  • Able to work independently and in a
  • Preferable candidates who can communicate in Mandarin due to business
